Our Story

Our founders came from a humble beginning in a part of the country where power supply was a luxury. The residents in their village had to rely on using oils extracted from the plants that grew all around them to provide them with the fuel to cook and oils to light-up their homes, up until the late 1990s when power supply became more readily available. Any surplus of the oils was sold or exchanged for goods and tools with which to till their land. Not until they were approached by a state-owned enterprise requesting a large amount of natural oils from them in mid 1990s did they realise that they had already mastered the art of distillation, a valuable skill. Unaware of the value of their products and in support of the local government, practically all of their oils and commodities were sold off. A couple of years went by before they realised that the forest was depleted and they had insufficient funds to re-grow their land. They then started to ask their valued customers for assistance. They were given some finanical aid but the money they received was not enough to re-grow what had fallen. Our founders then realised that they had to do something to conserve the resources and preserve the environment to sustain the growth of their land. They were fortunate enough to identify several technocrats who came to their rescue by helping them to improve their extraction technique, enhance the management of resources and upgrade the operation of the production facilities. In the early 2000s the Jiangxi East Flavor & Fragrance Company Limited was founded, occupying over 5 hectares (82 mu) of land in Jinxi County. Those who had played their part in building the Company, including the shrewd technocrats and the environmentally conscious customers have become part of the Company’s extended family.

We have grown from producing Natural Linalool(ex ho oil), Aniseed, Eucalyptus globulus,Eucalyptol,Litsea Cubeba oil,  Natural Camphor powderand ,Anethole and Guaiazulene and other natural or natural based products. We have an annual production capacity of 3,000 tons using modern equipment with heat exchange. We use recycled water and renewable energy to protect our environment.

Awards and Accomplishments

We were awarded the ISO9001:2000 QMS certification in 2006 and was honoured with the "Advance Individual Private Enterprise Award" for our leaders' commitment in using advanced technologies and production processes in our factory. "Top Ten Enterprise Award" was conferred on us for our ability to foster cooperative and stable long-term relationship with the farmers through exchange programs conducted locally and with other provinces.
